…and THAT’S why I have a Car Repair Fund!
The total should be $602.79, which is convenient since I have $630 in my CR fund and there’s a $25 minimum balance in that saving’s account. Isn’t it funny how life happens that way sometimes?
Today I am thankful for:
- Nice auto technicians I trust.
- Interviews and the possibility of future decisions.
- Sunny days that hint spring is coming soon.
- Hard-core spin classes that kick my booty.
- Paydays and savings. ‘Nuff said.
I am SO SORRY to hear that, but wow, this is why you’re an awesome personal finance blogger!
Btw, when I read “clutch” in your tweet, I kept thinking of a purse clutch. Yeah… I was tres confused.
i thought the same thing! hehe
I am CONVINCED that cars know exactly how much money you have available and break up to that point. Thus far all my car repairs have been within $100 of the available amount I have for said repairs. I think my Ford is checking my bank statements. ;)
Haha, that’s awesome! Right down to the dollar, eh.
I can’t really agree with SS4BC though – we had our last car die on us and still paying it off :(
Sadness! Our car overheated today so it is sitting at the mechanic right now, ready to be fixed tomorrow. See ya E-fund!
I honestly don’t know what I’m going to do when things on my car start breaking. Ideally, I guess I’d start a car fund right now.
