Happy Friday! Anyone doing anything fun this weekend? I’m determined to enjoy the few days left in such an amazing city, so my plans may include visiting a new museum, saying farewell to Eastern Market, and venturing to Tiffany & Co. to look at pretty debt-free items.
Last night I had the opportunity to attend the DC Blogger Happy Hour held at The Front Page in Dupont Circle. It is always awkward and awesome to meet bloggers in the person. These people know stuff about me my close friends don’t even know. (Ahem—my bank account balance!) Those present included: Mrs. Micah, Bucksome Boomer, Me in Millions, Brian Scheur from My Next Buck, Shawanda from You Have More than You Think, and Debt Hater. I was most excited to meet Bucksome Boomer and Me in Millions–two bloggers who are so sweet and down to earth. It befuddles me sometimes how cool the PF blogging community is… although I’m sure anyone who overheard our conversation last night probably thought we were a weird nerdy bunch. ;)
Hope everyone has a great weekend!
Have a great last weekend here :) Best of luck in your new job in NC, and congratulations on no longer being long distance with your boyfriend :)

It was so great to meet you too! I’m sad you’re skipping town, but happy that you’ll finally be near your man. :)

It was so great to meet you and the rest of last night’s group. You are just as sweet in person as your writing suggests.
Have a good move. I’m looking forward to reading about your next phase.

Wow! That picture makes me miss DC like whoa! We went last summer for four days and loved it there. If we could relocate to one place in the country, it would be DC. p.s. I’m so jealous that you’ve got to meet so many amazing bloggers! :)
