Pardon my absence, I’m Moving!

I’m writing this post in the middle of my echo-y bedroom, which is empty aside from my bed and a mouse trap. I’ll head to work for the last time in a little bit and tonight my parents and J drive up. We hire a reputable moving company so we can move as soon as possible.  So tomorrow morning our moving company similar to these long distance moving companies Salt Lake City will come to pick up our boxes and furniture, then we head for our new home.

Those who are planning to relocate soon, moving companies like Lou Moves You can help make your move less stressful. If you need storage in San Francisco where you can temporarily keep your belongings while preparing your new home, you may contact companies like Boombox Storage.

Moving is so bittersweet. So far it’s been mostly sweet anticipating my new job, new apartment, new life with J. But the last few days have been a little bit bitter. I hate getting sentimental, but I just can’t help it. Change is hard and I hate to say goodbye to friends.  A handful of my closest coworkers are taking a long weekend, so we said our goodbyes yesterday. The scene reminded me of 8th grade girls who cry at the end of the school year–a little unnecessary and a lot emotional.

The next few days will be so exciting moving, getting settled, decorating, and starting my new job on Tuesday. I’ll be MIA for a bit, but upon my return I’ll make sure report the total moving costs, my new goals for June, and other little bloggy things I have up my sleeve. ;)

Washington, DC, it’s been a pleasure. See you all on the flipside!
