Weekly Money Check-Up

1. The most I’ve spent this last week was on groceries. We are trying to be cautious with our spending this month since we had to buy J a new car unexpectedly.

2. Today I am thankful for being healthy. It is amazing how every aspect of my life is affected when I am sick, yet I take my health for granted when I am feeling good.

3. Money can’t buy happiness. One free thing I did last week that made me happy was catch up with a friend I hadn’t seen in months. We met up for a delicious Southern brunch and then walked around the State farmer’s market. It is so good catching up with friends!

4. I will consider this week a success if I change the oil in the Mazda, start the process of selling J’s old car, and workout at least three times.

5. The strangest thing I have ever eaten is guinea pig. I had it on a trip to Peru in 2004. It is a delicacy there, but personally I found it slimy. Yuck.

Weekly Money Check-Up is a weekly post on Mondays, but it can be posted any day of the week. Fill in the blanks in the comments section, or post it on your blog and link below. Thanks for participating!
