Ahhh, sweet Friday. What a happy day of the week! I have been very excited for this day to arrive—not only for the relaxing weekend ahead, but the premiere of the final Harry Pottery is tonight! J and I have successfully watched the previous seven movies in the last seven days, and it has made me even more excited about the finale this evening. Whether you are a Harry-nerd or not, you have to admit there is something so energizing about experiencing such an epic pop-culture event with millions of other fans around the world. I sort of wish I saw the premiere last night at midnight, but alas, opening night will have to do for this working professional.
In addition to attending the movie tonight, here are few other tasks I hope to accomplish:
– Get oil changed in the Mazda
– Go to church
– Organize linen closet, office closet, and guest room closet
– Go for a run, or do some kind of outdoor exercise
– Go vintage/thrift shopping
– Start a new book
– Vacuum and dust apartment
– Organize blog a bit
– Watch the Women’s World Cup with J
I hope everyone has a fabulous weekend!
Who else is going to see Harry Potter this weekend? What are your plans for the weekend?
Just got home from seeing the last movie and loved it! I am one of the world’s biggest HP nerds – I used to wait for hours at my local Walmart to get the books when they were released at midnight. Due to my amazing performance at HP trivia during the Order of the Phoenix release, I was banned from participating for the 6th and 7th releases. :)
I’m pretty depressed that it’s over now. I don’t think there could be another book series in my lifetime to top it.
Good luck! You have a long list to accomplish this weekend. I drive a Mazda as well and have been very happy with it.
Saw Harry Potter last night, and it was great!
We went to the very first show yesterday. I splurged and we saw in IMAX/3D. It was fabulous! I laughed and cried:)
We saw it the other night & I loved it – I want to see it again. It’s a bit sad seeing it all end though… now to wait for the release of the 8 films together for an HP marathon!
