Standing at the top of our balcony every morning and waving to J when he gets to the bottom.
Dancing in our kitchen while we make homemade pizza.
Turning radio songs into opera tunes on road trips.
Eating too many cadbury eggs.
Hiking up my pajama pants past my belly button then laughing so hard we start choking.
Running to our nearby ice cream store when it’s 20-degrees outside.
Refusing to make up our bed on rainy Saturdays.
I always thought marriage would be different. More… adult. Serious. But this past year has proved to be more fun than I ever imaged. It’s cliche to say you marry your best friend, but really, I married my best friend. Life isn’t without its troubles and hardships, but every day we find a reason to laugh.
Wonderful testimony to the love and “silliness you have added to your marriage. Keep it up as you approach your first anniversary!
So hard to believe it’s almost a year, we have been married 41 years and I still don’t feel like an adult…..
I think having fun and being yourself with your best friend is the best thing ever!
Love it! I plan on marrying my best friend at some point and I wouldn’t want it any other way. :)
