1. The most I’ve spent this last week was at the grocery store. Our poor fridge had been empty for a week.
2. Today I am thankful for a new apartment! But more on that later this week. ;)
3. Money can’t buy happiness. One free thing I did last week that made me happy was volunteer with my church at their annual ServeRDU week. J, Dupree and I went to Creedmoor on Saturday to help fix up an old farm house that is being used for a recovering-addicts ministry called Converting Hearts.
4. I will consider this week a success if I run four times at minimum of 20 minutes.
5. One recipe I want to try soon is cold rice noodles with peanut-lime chicken. Sounds like a weird combo, right? I’m trying to cook new things beyond my chicken and pasta repertoire, and this certainly would be new and different. If Deb thinks it’s delicious, then by golly it probably is. I’ll let you know how it turns out. :)
